                                                                Care instructions

Picture
All my Ceramics are considered food safe, unless specified otherwise in product description.
Wares made of stoneware ceramics are dishwashers safe, no hand washing is necessary unless otherwise described. But I always recommend hand washing for longevity. The Ceramics I decorated in gold-luster are not microwave friendly,
and I recommend hand washing.

Notice that some of the Ceramics have an unglazed surface, that is less resistant to grease and discoloration than ordinary glazed stoneware. Before use you can give the object a treatment of oil to protect the surface and leave it for 10 minutes. Rinse with hot water, and repeat this treatment at intervals. Discoloration from tannin acid can be removed by using a fat paste of baking powder and water.

The colors of the Ceramics shown in the photos on this website are representational only. Actual colors on the new finished pieces may vary from colors displayed. Variations can occur during the firing process or the position of the piece in the kiln. Colors of pigments/glazes as well as the clay itself, may vary between pieces.

PRODUCTION TIMING:
As a single maker I work continously to keep up with new products.
Each piece is shaped and glazed entirely by hand, Creating a gorgeous organic feel with no two pieces exactly the same.
Leaving the edges and base of the bowl and plates with a vitrified stone-like surface with a tactic feel.
I need time to replenish my stock....approximately  4 to 6 weeks.
